NewFilmmakers LA!

Los Angeles -- Nebraska Supersonic delivers to Hollywood and Vine!  Our NewFilmmakers LA screening was a jumpin' success.  We had a great crowd (note to comedy filmmakers: serve cocktails at your screenings).  CineSpace is a supercool venue.  NewFilmmakers LA Exec Director Henry Turner MC'd an in-depth Q & A session with Writer/Director Jeremy Lerman and Producer for Production/Assistant Director Florian Schura.  Thanks to all who contributed to the event!  One more thing: it turns out that Lassie has her own star on the Walk of Fame! That's awesome!

Los Angeles -- NewFilmmakers New York is getting a West Coast sister (series).  Inspired by the continuing success of its NYC indie film series, the NewFilmmakers folks are starting NewFilmmakers Los Angeles.

Nebraska Supersonic has the distinction of being among the first films selected for NewFilmmakers LA!

Screening Info:  Wednesday, April 9, 7 PM, at CineSpace in Hollywood.  CineSpace, in their words, is "an upscale restaurant, bar and screening room all rolled into one."  The restaurant area, with a 29' screen and Dolby digital sound, is arranged specifically for watching film while you dine.  So, in order to attend the screening, one must make a dinner reservation by calling CineSpace at 323-817-FILM.

Before the screening, 6 PMish, Nebraska Supersonic cast, crew, friends and colleagues will be gathering for cocktails in the lounge at CineSpace.  Please join in.

CineSpace is at 6356 Hollywood Blvd, near Cahuenga.  Per the CineSpace website, parking is available on Cosmo St. for $8 (Cosmo runs perpendicular to Hollywood Blvd, with Cahuenga to its west and Ivar to its east); or at Ivar and Selma Aves. for $4 or $5 (Selma parallels Hollywood Blvd to the south).  Here's a map.

We hope you'll be there, and with bells on!
